In the late evening hours of Sunday, August 10, 2025, a verbal altercation in the parking lot of the Villa Apartments in Gibsland, Louisiana, turned deadly, claiming the life of 19-year-old Quanterrick Montgomery of Dubberly. The young man was fatally wounded during a dispute with another teenager.

The argument escalated dramatically when 19-year-old Keondre Brice of Centerville, Mississippi, allegedly produced a firearm and began shooting. Brice is reported to have fired approximately 17 ...
