De’Von Franklin, 17, male, Black/African American, was fatally shot on the night of August 12, 2025, in New Orleans’ Seventh Ward. Police were called around 9:15–9:20 p.m. to the 2100 block of Allen Street, near Allen and North Dorgenois, where officers found one man at the scene who was taken to the hospital and later died.
