On September 3, 2014, William "Will Black" Allen Holmes Eleby Sr., aged 25, was the victim of a fatal shooting in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred at approximately 4:00 p.m. as Eleby was walking along the 2100 block of Foucher Street. He was shot multiple times and, despite his injuries, managed to flee to the nearby 2000 block of Amelia Street before ultimately collapsing from his wounds. The severity of the gunshot injuries led to his death at the scene.
