In the quiet community of Nancy, Kentucky, a tragedy unfolded that left friends and neighbors in disbelief. On May 31, 2025, Dorothy 'Dottie' Sawyer, an 80-year-old female, was found deceased in her home on Cherokee Trail in the Jabez area. Her death, a result of a gunshot wound, was not an isolated event.
