Jackson was a student at Jefferson Community College and a mother to a young daughter. Her life, full of promise and creativity, which included being a rapper with a hit record, came to a sudden and violent end on Saturday, May 7, 2005.
On that day, Ebony's body was discovered at 305 N. 19th Street.
The circumstances surrounding her death were immediately classified as a homicide by the Louisville Metro Police Department. She was a member of the St. Mary Missionary Church in New Albany, Indiana, and was survived by her daughter, parents, and several siblings.
