In the pre-dawn hours of February 22, 2022, a violent intrusion shattered the peace of a Richmond, Kentucky home, ending the life of 32-year-old Jordan Wesley Morgan, a female attorney with a promising future. An armed man, identified as Shannon Gilday, forced his way into the expansive residence owned by Jordan's father, former state representative C. Wesley Morgan. Gilday proceeded to an upstairs bedroom where he shot Jordan multiple times as she lay in her bed.
