In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Macon, Georgia, violence erupted in the parking lot of the Midtown Daiquiri Bar & Grill, leaving a scene of chaos and tragedy. When the gunfire ceased on May 18, 2025, three men lay dead, including 28-year-old Jedarrius Meadows Jr. He, along with his 24-year-old half-brother Javarsia Meadows and 32-year-old Javonta Faulks, were all pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting, which also left six other individuals wounded, marked the city's first triple homicide in several years.
The aftermath of the shooting rippled through the community as family members, overcome with grief, arrived at the chaotic scene. Bibb County Sheriff's investigators began the arduous task of piecing together the events that led to the deadly altercation. Their investigation led to the identification of several suspects. In the weeks that followed, authorities made a series of arrests.
Three individuals were ultimately taken into custody in connection with the fatal shooting. Travis Keyshaun Glover, 17, and Muchman Bond III, 25, were both charged with three counts of murder. A third man, 28-year-old Jarrius Terrell Curry, faced a charge of aggravated assault. A fourth suspect, 25-year-old Christopher Valentine, who was also wanted on three counts of murder, was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound before he could be apprehended by law enforcement. Following the arrests, the two suspects facing murder charges were denied bail.
