Calvin Bernard Harvey, a 16-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 17, 2018, in Macon, Georgia. Calvin was attending a cookout in South Macon when a vehicle drove by and fired several shots into the crowd. The incident occurred just after 12:30 a.m. on Edgewood Lane. Calvin was found dead on a stoop at the scene, having been shot in the head. This marked the 19th homicide in Macon-Bibb County that year.
