DaKwaun Tyre Faulks, an 18-year-old African American male from Macon, Georgia, tragically lost his life on August 19, 2018. The incident occurred when Faulks was fatally shot in the left side of his back. He was driven to the Navicent Health Medical Center by a private vehicle, where he was pronounced dead by the medical staff. The Bibb County Sheriff's Office responded to the hospital and began an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
