In the early morning hours of September 17, 2025, the quiet of a Dundalk, Maryland neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. When Baltimore County Police officers from the Dundalk Precinct arrived at the 1800 block of Portship Road around 5:30 a.m., they discovered the body of 35-year-old Marcos Molina-Saravia. A male victim, Molina-Saravia had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Initially, police did not release the victim's identity and
asked the public for any information that could lead to a suspect. The investigation into the fatal shooting continued for weeks. As detectives pieced together the events of that September morning, two individuals were identified as suspects in the killing of Molina-Saravia.
In early November 2025, the investigation culminated in the arrests of 38-year-old Tavon Frederick and 21-year-old Jacob Jordan. Both men were taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of Marcos Molina-Saravia. Following their arrests, Frederick and Jordan were held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bond.
