Dior Scott, a 7-year-old Black girl from Decatur, Georgia, was shot and killed on June 13, 2025, inside an apartment at The Forest at Columbia Apartments on Columbia Drive. Officers were called shortly before 3 p.m. and found Dior Scott and 29-year-old Tomika Pullins unresponsive; despite life-saving efforts, both died at the scene. Witnesses told police a man tried to get inside, broke a window when he was refused, and then fired multiple shots into the apartment before fleeing.
