Lashunda Heath Ellison, a 50-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on October 5, 2022, in Decatur, Georgia. Lashunda, who was the wife of Pastor Mac Ellison, was fatally struck by a stray bullet while she was sleeping in her home on Wilkins Court. The incident occurred around midnight when a bullet pierced through the wall of her bedroom and struck her in the head. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Lashunda succumbed to her injuries a few days later.
