A woman is found drowned to death in Otter Creek
Wilma Scribner, age 42, was reported missing by her husband on November 2, 1977, in Middlebury, Vermont. For over a year, her whereabouts remained unknown until March 21, 1979, when her body was discovered in Otter Creek in Weybridge, Vermont. The case took a grim turn when, in October of the same year, her vehicle was found submerged in the same creek, upstream from where her body had been located.
