On February 15, 2016, 57-year-old Donna Marzilli was fatally shot in her home on Cold River Road in Shrewsbury, Vermont. Her longtime partner, Frank Weir, called 911 around 11:30 p.m., reporting that Marzilli had been shot during a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, Vermont State Police found Marzilli deceased from a gunshot wound.
