Karen Pearce, a 44-year-old white female hairstylist from Smyrna, Georgia, was tragically murdered on December 6, 2014, in downtown Decatur, Georgia. Pearce was leaving a local restaurant and walking towards her vehicle when she was fatally shot. Witnesses reported hearing a gunshot before discovering her body near a parking deck at One Decatur Town Center.
