Corey J. Jackson, a 48-year-old Black man, was killed on the evening of June 17, 2025, in Atlanta after police were called to 2423 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive NW at about 8:11 p.m. Officers arrived to find him suffering from a gunshot wound, unresponsive, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
