On April 26, 1971, Obediah Reaves, a 28-year-old white male, was tragically shot and killed during a robbery attempt at the Star Loan Company in Atlanta, Georgia. Reaves, who worked as a security guard, was on duty when the incident occurred. The robbery attempt turned fatal when the assailant shot Reaves, leading to his untimely death.
