In the early morning hours of May 17, 2021, a burst of violence at a southwest Atlanta flea market tragically cut short the life of 29-year-old Alan R. Turner Jr. Responding to a shooting call at approximately 3:30 a.m. at the Metro Mart USA on Metropolitan Parkway, police discovered Turner with multiple gunshot wounds. He was urgently transported to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
