Lawrence Roberts Jr., a 25-year-old African American male from Atlanta, GA, tragically lost his life on March 18, 2019. The incident occurred at a house party in northwest Atlanta, just hours after Roberts had been released from jail. According to reports, he was shot in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene when officers arrived around 10 p.m. The party was held at a home in the 1800 block of Newman Place.
