A dispute that began behind a CVS pharmacy in Atlanta escalated into a fatal stabbing, leading to the arrest of Kenneth Martin. The incident, which occurred on the evening of October 1st, resulted in the death of 34-year-old Dominique Sanjurjo, a father of three.
According to Atlanta police, Sanjurjo was involved in a dispute with a woman when Martin arrived at the scene. An altercation ensued, during which Martin allegedly stabbed Sanjurjo multiple times in the back with a pocket knife. Following the stabbing, Sanjurjo managed to drive from the location on Headland Drive near Greenbriar Mall to his home in East Point. He was later pronounced dead.
A week after the incident, arrest warrants were issued for Kenneth Martin, charging him with murder. He was subsequently booked into the Fulton County Jail. The victim's family was relieved to learn that an arrest had been made, expressing the deep disruption and pain the violent act had caused their lives. Sanjurjo was remembered by his mother as a former football standout who was deeply loved by his family, friends, and community.
