Kardenai Anthony Hollis, 16, a Black male from Fort Wayne, was found just after 3 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025, on the 1800 block of River Run Trail with gunshot wounds. Officers rushed him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead; the Allen County Coroner later ruled the case a homicide by gunfire and listed him as the 22nd homicide of the year in Fort Wayne and Allen County.
