Nola McNary, 60, a Black/African American woman, was shot on the morning of July 24, 2025, after police were called to a reported domestic violence disturbance in the 4800 block of North Ritter Avenue on Indianapolis’ northeast side. Officers found Nola McNary, 60, suffering from gunshot wounds; she was taken to a hospital in critical condition and died from her injuries.
