Dahn Chartier, 22, male, was shot after an argument on Monday, August 18, 2025, in Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood. Around 6:50 a.m., in the 7500 block of South Stony Island Avenue, an altercation escalated when the other person pulled a gun and opened fire. Chartier suffered multiple gunshot wounds, was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, and was pronounced dead there.
