Walter Battle, a 24-year-old man, was tragically shot and killed on June 5, 2014, in Westmont, California. The incident occurred in the 9000 block of South Budlong Avenue. According to reports, Battle was walking south on South Budlong Avenue shortly before 6:45 p.m. when two sedans traveling in the same direction stopped alongside him.
