In the evening of August 13, 2025, deputies from the Kern County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting at a residence located on the 500 block of Buckley Avenue in southeast Bakersfield, California. Upon arrival, they discovered two individuals deceased inside the home, each with a gunshot wound. The victims were identified as Maria Silvia Gonzalez Gandara and Isidro Felix Lopez, both 48 years old.
