In the early morning hours of Friday, July 18, 2025, a dispute between roommates in a Northeast Washington, D.C. apartment escalated into a fatal encounter. Metropolitan Police Department officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Fort Drive, Northeast, at approximately 12:15 a.m. following a report of a disturbance.
