In the late evening hours of Sunday, August 3, 2025, a tragic event unfolded near Union Station in Washington, D.C. that claimed the life of Akim Toure, a 27-year-old male. Originally from Sierra Leone, Toure had immigrated to the United States as a child and had built a life as a dedicated IT professional residing in Riverdale, Maryland. His family described him as a hardworking man who was deeply committed to caring for his mother and sister, especially after the passing of his father.
