On a Sunday afternoon that should have been filled with the cheers and camaraderie of youth football, tragedy struck at Eden Park in Wilmington, Delaware. On September 21, 2025, Lamar Massas, a 36-year-old man, was fatally shot while watching his son's football game. The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m. during a game between the New Castle Jaguars and the Upland Hurricanes.
