Shari Kaye Knutzen, 60, a White/Caucasian female from Huntsville, Alabama, died on May 18, 2025, after being shot multiple times inside her home. Deputies with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a shooting in progress on Steppe Court late that Sunday night. She was treated at the scene and transported to Huntsville Hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Authorities said the initial findings indicated a domestic-violence-related attack.
