On September 11, 2017, in Huntsville, Alabama, 59-year-old Nancy Louise Young was tragically murdered in her home. The perpetrator, 27-year-old Otis Preston Mayes, was engaged in a series of violent crimes that evening. Earlier, he had fatally shot 77-year-old Mary Blevins in her mobile home on Windham Street, stealing prescription medications before fleeing.
