On a Saturday evening in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the life of 23-year-old Tumontay Parks was tragically cut short. The young Black man was at a gathering in the 1400 block of Belle Avenue on May 17, 2025, when violence erupted. Shots were fired from a dark-colored truck, which then quickly fled the scene, leaving chaos and a critically injured Parks behind.
