In the early morning hours of a June day in Huntsville, Alabama, a planned meeting between two individuals turned deadly, leaving a young man, Nicholas Kyle Howell, with fatal injuries. The 22-year-old male was discovered lying in the roadway in the 3900 block of Rucker Circle with a gunshot wound. First responders arrived at the scene around 1 a.m. after receiving a call about shots being fired.
