In the early morning hours of Friday, August 1, 2025, the quiet of a north Phoenix neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Responding to a call around 6:10 a.m. in the vicinity of 40th Street and Meadow Drive, police officers discovered a grim scene inside a residence.
