Eric Major, 32, a male from Dothan, was shot and killed in Montgomery, Alabama, on July 16, 2025. Police and fire medics were dispatched around 5:45 a.m. to the 2300 block of East Sixth Street in the Forest Park area, where the scene was cordoned off as investigators began documenting evidence. The early-morning quiet of the neighborhood gave way to flashing lights as officers traced shell casings and canvassed for witnesses, marking the spot where the 32-year-old lay mortally wounded.
