On March 2, 2023, at approximately 12:45 a.m., Montgomery police and fire medics responded to a shooting in the 4900 block of Hatton Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 26-year-old Fredrikis M. Heard suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Heard was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
