In October 1977, Terra Wedlaw, a 19-year-old African American female, was murdered in Nashville, Tennessee. Originally from Tampa, Florida, she had arrived in Nashville just two months prior to her death. On October 18, 1977, she was solicited by a man named Laron Ronald Williams, who took her to the Capitol Park Inn.
