Jamayla Ervoni Marlowe, a three-year-old girl from Nashville, Tennessee, tragically lost her life on April 12, 2021. Jamayla was in the backseat of her mother's car when a shooting broke out in the parking lot of Cumberland View Apartments. She and her two-year-old half-sister were caught in the crossfire, and Jamayla was fatally wounded by a bullet to her back. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she succumbed to her injuries.
