In March of 2013, the discovery of a woman's body in her apartment marked the first homicide of the year in Hartford, Connecticut. The victim was 59-year-old female, Sawarie Krichindath. Her daughter made the grim find on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the residence on 76 Main St. Police reports indicated that Krichindath had suffered from puncture wounds, suggesting she was likely stabbed to death.
