In the summer of 1997, the life of 30-year-old Shiraleen Crawford, a Black woman from Hartford, Connecticut, came to a tragic and violent end. On August 14th, her body was discovered in her third-floor apartment on Martin Street. The state of her remains indicated that she had been deceased for several days, with authorities estimating her death to have occurred on or around August 11th.
