Majane Elizabeth Mazur, a 32-year-old white woman, was murdered in Buffalo, New York, in late 1992. Born on July 25, 1960, in Greenville, South Carolina, she was a mother to a young daughter and had been living in the Buffalo area at the time of her death. Her body was discovered near railroad tracks, and the circumstances of her death bore chilling similarities to other unsolved crimes in the region. She had been strangled, and her murder initially went unsolved for over a decade.
