Shakila Cottrell, a 25-year-old woman from Buffalo, was tragically shot and killed on August 20, 2016, during a gathering near Shumway and Paderewski Drive. She had been attending a barbecue with friends when the fatal shooting occurred. Despite ongoing investigations, the case remains unsolved, and law enforcement continues to seek information to bring justice to her family. Crime Stoppers has offered a reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for her death.
