In the early morning hours of June 11, 2021, the life of 76-year-old Edward Akufo, a Black male, was tragically cut short in a sudden act of violence in Oklahoma City. He and another man were inside a vehicle, preparing to drive away from an apartment complex located in the 4400 block of Sunnyview Drive. It was at this moment that an unknown individual or individuals opened fire on their vehicle.
