Bernard Timothy Heaney, a 30-year-old Caucasian male, was tragically shot and killed outside his auto-body shop, Save-On Customizing, on December 5, 1988, in Flanders, New York. Heaney had been shopping for a Christmas present with a mobile tools salesman when the attack occurred.
