Mark Douglas Stebbins, a 12-year-old Caucasian boy from Ferndale, Michigan, was the first known victim of the Oakland County Child Killer. On February 15, 1976, Mark left the American Legion Hall in Ferndale, where he had been playing, and called his mother to inform her that he was heading home. However, he never arrived.
