On the evening of November 9, 2020, Durrell Wright, a 32-year-old male, was fatally shot while sitting in his vehicle in Detroit, Michigan. The incident occurred at approximately 8:34 p.m. in the 15000 block of Novara Street, near Rex Street. While Wright was in his car, two unknown male suspects approached from either side. The individual on the driver's side then opened the door and fired multiple shots, striking Wright.
