On the evening of June 4, 2023, a violent encounter in Ann Arbor, Michigan, tragically ended the life of 24-year-old Donrell Savontay Patrick Canda. An African American male, Canda was walking towards his residence on Sandalwood Circle when he was confronted by an acquaintance, 22-year-old Sekou Conde.
