On the evening of December 30, 2024, 28-year-old Hispanic male Jesus Rodriguez was fatally shot following a confrontation in the parking lot of an apartment complex located in the 2800 block of Stuart Place Road in Primera, Texas. The altercation, which occurred around 7:30 p.m., escalated when one of the individuals involved produced a firearm and shot Jesus Rodriguez once in the abdomen. He was transported to a hospital in Harlingen, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 11:39 p.m.
