In March 2025, the Hampton community was jolted by the disappearance of 42-year-old Henry Larvell Jordan Jr., a local man who was last seen walking in the 2400 block of West Weaver Road in the early morning hours of March 11th. Concern for his well-being grew, and he was reported missing. The search for Henry came to a grim end on the afternoon of March 12th when police, responding to a 'man-down complaint,' discovered his body behind a residence in the same area where he was last seen.
