On April 18, 2025, Kevin Scott Small, a 48-year-old White male from Shipman, Virginia, was discovered deceased outside his residence with a single gunshot wound to the chest. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene. According to arrest warrants, he was found on a tractor at the time of the shooting.
