On May 5, 2025, Emily Grace Keene, a 24-year-old white woman from Callaway, Virginia, was found deceased in the driver's seat of her vehicle on Holley Ridge Road in Henry, Virginia. She had suffered apparent gunshot wounds, and her death was officially ruled a homicide by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Roanoke.
